يقدم فيلم "عالم غريب" مقاربة مجتزأة للعالم الذي يعيشه الإنسان البشري ،وفق تنويعة من الثنايا و التفاصيل المتضمنة فيه ، من خلال طرحه لعالم صغير تعيش احدى المجسمات المتحركة. ينطلق الفيلم من طروحات أساسية تتلخص في انعكاسات العزلة البشرية - الانتظار ضمن حلقات من اللاجدوى - النوازع والدوافع الدفينة في داخل كل منا . تتبدى هذه المفاهيم وتظهر مع المحرك الأساسي الذي يغير مسار الأحداث في حياة المجسم وذلك بظهور الكرة المدحرجة . يعيش هذا المجسم في مكان منعزل ضمن قوقعة ، لا يتواصل مع أحد ، هوسجين هذه الحياة ، لتظهر أمامه كرة تتدحرج فتثيره حركتها و لونها على عكس عالم الرتابة الممتدة من حوله . يلحق المجسم بالكرة ليدخل مجموعة من العوالم المختلفة ذات التفاصيل الغامضة و المخيفة . يطرح الفيلم في رحلة المجسم خلف الكرة فكرة العالم المجهول الذي يرغبه الجميع وفي نفس الوقت يخافه الجميع ..

The film presents similar picture of the world we live in, according to variety of the details contained therein, through putting it to a small world experienced by one of the animated figures. The film starts from a basic arguments summarized the implications of the isolation of human waiting in the rings of futility _and the motives with in each of us. Manifests itself in concepts and shown with the main engine which changes the course of events in the life of the character, and that with the appearance of the rolling ball . This animated character lives in a secluded location, doesn't communicate with anyone . He is the prisoner of this life . Till the appearance of the rolling ball, draws his attention by its movement and color , unlike the extended world of monotony around him . He follow the ball to enter a range of different worlds with mysterious details. The film presents in this journey of the character behind the ball the idea of the unknown world that every one like and want but in the same time everyone is afraid of it ..
